THE MOST EMERGENT VOICE OF TANGO SINGER

In the dozens
of times we have had to attend a concert of music by Tango with soloists and
orchestra, we had always wondered what could be the singer in a dance music.
Recalling an interview, done in ancient times, by a journalist at the great
Italian singer Milva (famous for singing Bertold Brecht), in which she defined
it as singing the music of Astor Piazzolla an orgasm, we had the opportunity to
interview, just before making her tournee
Warm voice,
well-tuned, of profound character, with her sweet face always smiling, enchants

Born in
Buenos Aires and raised in Madrid, from 2002 Mariel Martinez is the most famous
singer of the Tango in Europe. 5 discs produced by Litto Nebbia sold in
Argentina, France, Spain for the site N and Lopea, nominated in 2014 for the
2014 Gardel Prize for Best Actress Delia tango song, she produced her last job
playing "Buenos Ayres, cuando lejos me you".
In addition
to this, Mariel participated in many recompilation of DVDs and books of Tango
as guest artist. Over the last three years, or with her trio, or alone with
guitarist Alejandro Picciano, she presented her records in the best theaters of
Spain, Argentina, France, Italy, Russia, Czech Checa and Portugal, but also in
Morocco and Germany.
Her career is
in constant expansion and targeted to the consolidation of a long and fruitful
experience, which will continue even in 2016, with other authors to be
presented in Spain, Russia, Portugal and Ecuador.
Interviewed
by many radio and television stations in Spain and Argentina, Mariel gave way
to us of IC News, to show how important in the career of a singer of the Tango be
own personality, in addition to the voice, and to give a presentation of
herself beautiful, simple woman, a singer in love with their work and high level
of musical culture.

1-I feel a
Tanguera source, but a singer as an art form, and in the song I express my love
for Argentina, even if my land is now Spain.
2-The most
beautiful experience I have had, was for sure having been sung in Russia, where
art expressed as singing, music, dance is much awaited by all.
3-In singing
the music of Tango is very important to the interpretation of the repertoire
that you submit, certainly much more of the music itself and yourself to sing.
4-My life is
my career, and my career is my life. I like to travel, to be a bit 'of time I
carry with me the video camera to record even the sensations you can experience
through pictures magazines. I would also like to become an actress, make
movies, but I think the first is to confirm as a singer and an artist
internationally, then we'll see.
